Beth Wattleworth

Beth is passionate, dedicated, and excited about the renewable energy industry in Asia. She is based in Tokyo and responsible for growing and developing the Northland Power business in Asia through market entry, site origination, and establishing partnerships. Beth provides ongoing development support to the growing Northland team and pipeline of projects in Japan, Taiwan, and Korea. Beth has a Masters in Engineering, specialized in Energy and the Environment from Cambridge University, and has worked in wind and solar development in the UK, Japan, and more widely across Asia over her career. In Japan, Beth was previously a Project Director for an offshore wind project in Japan, managing all aspects including EIA, technical consultants, and local stakeholder engagement. Prior to joining Northland Power, Beth worked for Acacia Renewables and Renewable Energy Systems (RES).
