Senior Trade Specialist – Energy, Scottish Development International (SDI)

Murray is the Asia Pacific lead for the energy trade team at Scottish Development International (SDI) based in Scotland. He is involved in supporting companies from Scotland’s world class energy supply chain to discover and access opportunities for collaboration and commercial partnership across multiple market sectors, with a particular focus on those involved in delivering the energy transition.
Murray obtained a BSc. (Hons) degree in Building Engineering & Management and an MSc in Facilities Management from Heriot Watt University, Edinburgh. With a working background in the civil engineering and construction industry, he has held multiple roles in the private and public sectors across the Middle East (Saudi Arabia, UAE and Oman) and the UK including consultancy, construction and project management. He has been with SDI for eight years and has supported companies on trade & investment activity across North America, West Africa, Asia-Pacific countries and the Middle East.
