Neeraj is an expert in the areas of Energy, Infrastructure and Natural Resources. He has extensively advised the private sector on bidding and developing energy, infrastructure and natural resource projects.

Neeraj is an active contributor to the policy debate on energy and infrastructure issues. He is a member of the Confederation of India Industry’s National Committee on Renewable, Wind and Solar Energy. Neeraj advised IFC and Government of MP on the landmark Rewa Solar project (750 MW) which was mentioned in the Government of India’s Prime Minister’s Book of Innovation and won the World Bank Group’s President award for Innovation and Excellence.

Neeraj has also advised various international power project developers on the development of numerous wind power projects in India. His key clients in the wind power sector include Actis, Alfanar Energy, CLP India, Sembcorp, ENGIE, EDF and Enel Green Power.

Neeraj is the India editor for Law Business Research’s Electricity, Energy and Mining series and is recognised by Chambers and Partners, IFLR 1000, IBLJ and Vahura as a leading practitioner in Energy & Infrastructure sector in India.

Neeraj is an alumnus of the Pune University. He is a member of the Bar Council of Delhi, the Supreme Court Bar Association and the Delhi High Court Bar Association.
