Hirofumi is a Japanese qualified lawyer who specialises in cross border joint law project finance transactions and energy and infrastructure related corporate transactions, advising equity investors, export credit agencies and commercial banks.
Hirofumi has a wealth of experience advising on renewable projects in Japan and internationally. His recent experience includes advising the international lenders/sponsors on five greenfield renewable projects in Japan, as well as renewable projects in Asia, Africa, Europe and the Middle East.
His other highlight experience includes advising on the award-winning Nacala corridor pit to port railway in Mozambique and Malawi, the Yamal LNG project and a number of ongoing gas-fired power projects in Asia and the Middle East.
